Roadtrip till the middle of Alentejo. The driest/hottest zone, located in the south of Portugal. The Alqueva dam made possible to create the biggest water reservoir / artificial lake in Europe. Due to it's creation the old Luz village had to be flooded and new one had to be built for its habitants just a few kilometers next to the submerged one.
The landscape changed by the man, in the most natural way ( if it's possible to say it like this, made it possible to flourish the land and solve the water problems for the Alentejo.
It's a magical place, the surroundings are impressive, and the peaceful of the endless horizons are now blessed by the big water lake.
